Under God the People Rule

Bridge Builder - Leader - Small Business Owner
My roots go deep in Northeastern South Dakota. In 1979 I was born to Mary and Vernal Donnell in Sisseton, SD. My mother Mary grew up on a farm on the State line of North and South Dakota. She is a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. My father is a member of the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate from Veblen, SD. I too, am a proud member of the Sisseton Whapeton Oyate from Sisseton.
I had the best of both worlds growing up deeply rooted my Native American and rural farming cultures. My deep conservative values have been shaped by faith in Christ and Traditional Native teachings.
I was raised in a home with strong loving parents who taught me personal responsibility, and the value of a strong work ethic.
I believe strong leadership is the key to a bright future for our state. Servant leadership that puts the best interest of fellow citizens before personal interests. Leadership that stands for absolute truth, that advocates for healthy families, and protects individual liberties given to us by God.
